Welcome
The Parent Association provides an active means for parents to participate in the life of the school. The PA (of which all Ruffing parents are members) coordinates parent volunteer efforts to benefit the school and strengthen connections within the Ruffing Community. These efforts, upon which the PA and Ruffing are dependent, are defined by the varied interests and skills of our unique parent community and include such recurring events as the All-School Picnic, Pumpkin Party, Wine and Cheese, Book Fair, Grandparents' and Special Persons' Day, and the Great Kids' Race. Whatever your talents or interests, the PA works hard to find meaningful opportunities for you to engage within the Ruffing community. Please let us know how you would like to be involved as the PA is committed to providing volunteer opportunities that are as fulfilling to parents as they are to the community.
Mission Statement:
The Parent Association (PA) was established during the 2001-2002 school year to provide an active means for parents to participate in the life of the school. The purpose of the PA is to provide an organization through which parents can support and serve the Ruffing community. The specific activities will be inspired by, and change with, the needs of our school community.

It's not too soon to think ahead to next school year. We are recruiting now for the PA Board, as well as for class parents, and a CCIS PRG representative.
